Adele is a slightly more feminine version of the classic long sleeve linen shirt.
It has a traditional collar and raglan sleeves which give a little more room for movement around the arms and shoulders, good for keeping cool in hot weather as well. The sleeves are sewn in two roomy parts and finished with a narrow band at the cuff. The shirt fastens with small shell buttons.
This sample is a size XXL - 50” bust - and is made from a smooth navy chambray Irish linen. The back length is 24”/ 61 cm.
100% Irish linen, made in the UK. Machine washable.
Please note: for the uninitiated, chambray is a weave whereby the weft is one colour and the warp another. In the case of this garment they are dark blue and white. The result is a fabric that is slightly shaded in appearance.
