In response to requests for a pair of trousers that are really cool to wear in very hot weather we have brought you Harriet.
The most obvious thing to do is use a lighter linen, which we have done, still an appropriate trouser weight but lighter than some of our other styles. There is very little bulk around the elasticated waist and the looseness of leg is perfect in hot weather.
They have a straight wider but not voluminous, leg style. The vertical seam down the front ensures a good ‘hang’. All have a single rear patch pocket but you may order with or without the roomy front pockets.
Standard length is 31”. Order longer or shorter if required at checkout.
Please note: The lighter weight linen used here does mean that the white can be more ‘see through’. Fine if worn with a longer top, but If you would prefer a denser fabric for your white trousers just let us know on the order form and we will do this for you. It is horses for courses really, the light linen is very summery and cool to wear but in white the transparency can be an issue for some. We understand!
